In order to learn the application of 3D techniques in the documentation of archaeological findings on a practical example, the BCDH and a small group of students were guests at the Museum Römervilla in Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, where they were able to create a virtual copy of the thermal baths of the massive Roman complex using state-of-the-art 3D techniques.
